Most, if not all of the names provided here are unofficial. Due to the ambiguity of enemy names between regions, the lack of names for several of them and the absence of various documents, it is impractical to list the correct designations. Help is strongly encouraged and always appreciated to fill in these blanks. The Opposition section serves primarily to describe and depict the enemies for bookkeeping; thus, the content presented below hopefully satisfies this criterion.

Note: Enemies and objects that take multiple hits to defeat have increased strength with increasing difficulty, as well as in 2 player mode. Some enemies also appear in greater numbers on higher difficulty settings.

Found in stages: 1

Hit Rate Statistics:
Value: 4%
Stage 1 Total: 4%

Crawler Tank:

conssspidbot

It starts by launching a series of Crawler Missiles from the right end. Afterwards, its pattern consists of leaping to the other end and performing 2 attacks before leaping back to repeat. The first attack is a missile that follows the player from off-screen, with a target cross-hair on the ground that indicates where it will eventually land. The second attack is the barrage of Crawler Missiles.
Found in stages: 1

Hit Rate Statistics:
Value: 8%
Stage 1 Total: 8%

Factory Demolition Machine:

7fi4hdei

A large ceiling weapon that consists of a Central Orb (main goal; all other components are optional) and a variable weapon turret laterally on either side of it. The turret is replaced by a different one each time it is destroyed. In order of appearance, they are:

-Compact Rocket Turret: Actively aims and fires Compact Rockets at the player.

-Spread Fire Turret: Alternates between firing 3 bullets and 3 bullets that are immediately tailed by 2 others. They are all shot in a spread formation, straight down.

-Carpet Bomb Turret: Launches missiles down; when they hit the ground, they burst into 2 large blazes that rapidly propagate away from each other.

-Flame Turret: Shoots flames constantly in a fanning motion.

When all 4 turret types are destroyed on one side, the Central Orb begins to attack. It periodically charges up and beams electricity along the ground, from the middle to either the left or the right (randomly). As it receives damage, its embedded glowing crystals gradually break.

Segmented Snake:

consssnowsnake

It porpoises through the snow and dives into the player. Its weak points are its Head and Segments; it can be attacked only during its dive into the player.

Initially, it porpoises back and forth, during which only its Segments are vulnerable. After they are destroyed, it dives forward only, with short pauses between each. Its head is now vulnerable.

This mini-boss is optional, but is tricky to skip. After remaining on-screen for a while, regardless of phase, it will leave the battle, still alive.

Battleship Anterior Cannon:

conssantbscan

The battleship rises out of the water in the background and launches 2 sets of 4 napalms that land at equal-interval points on the ground. Next, it sends a heat ray across the ground twice, faster the second time. Following this, the ship submerges.

It then re-emerges behind the player by breaking through the pier surface; the resulting debris can kill the player. Now, the Battleship Anterior Cannon attacks; it is also vulnerable to attacks. The cannon fires a few sets of 2 missiles before re-submerging and returning to the background to repeat the pattern.

Value: 3%
State 2 Total: 3%

Train Plasma Cannon:

cadvtrncan

Shoots several plasma blasts at the ground and ceiling. Upon impact, they split into 3 smaller Plasma Orbs that home in on the player. The cannon then temporarily turns away from the player to reload, revealing its weak point at the base (indicated by targets).
Found in stages: 2

Hit Rate Statistics:
Value: 5%
Stage 2 Total: 5%

Drone Trio:

chcpwrrngr

This mini-boss consists of 2 Accessory Drones electrically linked to a Central Drone. The Left Accessory Drone fires plasma pellets at the player; the Right Accessory Drone charges up and fires brief bursts of machine gun fire at the player. If the player doesn’t destroy these 2, they eventually get dispatched by the Central Drone.

The Central Drone attacks in the following manner. It first sends a few heat rays along the ground at different spots, into the screen; they create a delayed explosion. It then charges towards the player, into the screen. Finally, the drone beams a laser across the ground. It is only during this last attack that the machine is vulnerable to attacks. The player must destroy it before it leaves. In this sense, the entire battle is optional.

Right Accessory Drone Value: 2%
Central Drone Value: 5%

Decapedal Blob:

conss3ceilingmb

10-legged blob with a dorsal mouth; it crawls along the ceiling. The player fights it while running on a Conveyor Belt and avoiding a Grinder on the right.

When it’s on the right side of the screen, it spits out several projectiles to the left; they bounce on the floor and ceiling as they travel. When it’s on the left side of the screen, it lays indestructible Spiked Offspring in random intervals. These motionless creatures are simply transported on the Conveyor Belt into the Grinder.

The mini-boss crawls to the opposite side of the screen between attacks. If the player is hanging from the ceiling, it sprints back and forth across in an attempt to kill the player.

Jet Ski Mech:

con3ss4seamech

A very large and very massive robot that travels on the sea surface using a Jet Ski. It consists of several components; some are optional and others are obligatory.

In the first phase, the player begins behind the mini-boss. It attacks the player primarily with its Mine Backpack, which opens to drop proximity mines on the water surface; these mines create a large explosion when aligned vertically with the player. The Mine Backpack is an optional component. Additionally, the mech’s shoulder hatch launches several Smart Rockets.

conssjeskmech2

After the mine attack, the mech moves to the left side of the screen, performing high jumps as it does. Now, the Jet Ski periodically launches series of Tracking Missiles, sometimes while hovering off of the water. The mech then uses its Firearm, shooting several fireballs at the player. Next, the Jet Ski compresses close to the mech, launching another batch of Tracking Missiles; it then springs forward to the right, pulling the mech with it. The pattern finally restarts.

The player must destroy the Jet Ski to progress in the battle. After doing so, but without destroying the Firearm, an optional phase occurs. In this phase, the mech whips the broken cord of the Jet Ski forward; next, it shoots fireballs at the player with its Firearm, during which its shoulder hatch launches a batch of Smart Rockets.

conssjeskmech3

Once the Firearm is destroyed, the mini-boss switches to its final phase. The Thoracic Core is its weak point and the main goal, but it is sealed most of the time. The following attack routine is carried out. Batch of Smart Rockets from the shoulder hatch; Thoracic Core temporarily opens up and emits a very wide energy beam; forward whip.

Virtual Brain Organism:

cssvbr

A flying cyborg head, consisting of an outer ceramic shell and an inner organic core.

In the first phase, the mini-boss features a Ceramic Outer Layer that forms a human head. It flies around, emitting series of Energy Rings from its forehead. Next, it moves into the background (during which it is immune to attacks) and beams 2 heat rays back and forth across the ground a few times. As it receives damage, the head breaks off in fragments.

conssvirtbrain2

In the second phase, the Brain Layer is fully exposed. After bouncing off of the ground, it repeats 2 attacks. It follows the player while dropping a few energy blasts straight down. Immediately after, the base of the brain opens and it shoots an intense energy beam downwards.

Metal Snail:

conssmetslg

Mutant snail with a Parked Car as its shell; its weak point is its body. This boss can either spit several Expansion Bubbles; otherwise, it launches napalms in the air that rain down, with the landing spots indicated by targets. The snail can perform these from either side of the screen. In between attacks, it hides under the car, which then drives to the other side of the screen.

-Floating in the center of the room, connects 6 electrical beams to the room’s surfaces, equally spaced apart, and rotates them clockwise.

-Forms a fiery cannonball and bounces around the room.

-Harvests several fireballs around his body and chucks them simultaneously at the player.

-Hangs from the middle of the ceiling and launches several energy orbs to various spots in the air, where they remain briefly.

They can run across to the other side of the screen; burrow in and dig out of their respective surfaces; the lower one can jump, while the upper one simultaneously scoops down and rises back up. When one of them is defeated, the second phase begins.

The remaining crustacean can burrow under the floor or ceiling and dig out of the same or opposite surface; it can run across the floor, jumping back to the initial side right after; it can run across the ceiling, dipping down and back up as it moves; the mini-boss can also launch pellets in the air that rain down.

Alien Gummy Plant:

conss5flmb

Flexible creature with 2 sets of legs, one for the ceiling and the other for the floor. Both sets attach to a Gummy Core, the weak point.

On the right side of the screen, it hangs from the ceiling and pulls the floor close to it briefly before letting go. It then drops a fireball to the ground; upon impact, the fireball splits into 2 blazes that propagate in opposite directions.

The creature then slinks along the ceiling to left side of the screen and drops to the ground. It bends its upper set of legs to the right and emits a wide energy beam. It restarts the pattern after sprinting to the right. The Gummy Core is vulnerable when exposed, which occurs when the sets of legs separate.

Mr. Heli-Robo:

In the first phase, the robot attacks in the form of a helicopter. At the start of the battle, it is in the background, moving horizontally and shooting projectiles across the plane surface. It then approaches the plane, wielding dual Electrical Arms that beam electricity on the surface while also unloading Seeker Missiles. The robot returns to the background to restart the pattern. Its weak point is either of the Electrical Arms.

conssmrheli2

In the second phase, the helicopter transforms into a mech and attacks mostly while standing on the plane. At the plane’s tail, it launches projectiles that slide across the surface. After flying to the front, it blasts a laser beam from a low height. This pattern repeats, with the mech sometimes briefly landing in the middle before changing sides. The weak point is the Mech Torso. This mini-boss is not present on the Easy difficulty setting.

Ultimate Being:

conssultbe

The 3 Triumvirates fuse with the power of the Relic of Moirai. This is the first form, and likely the ideal one. One of its attacks is throwing 2 partly homing energy orbs at the player, from the ground or while floating. While in the air on one side of the screen, it can whip its arm forward, down to the player; alternatively it whips the arm multiple times, starting diagonally and approaching vertical aim with each strike. The other attack involves following the player while floating until it’s aligned, and then rapidly whipping its arm straight down.

Between attacks, the Ultimate Being turns invisible and moves to another part of the screen, during which it is immune to attacks. This mini-boss is not present on the Easy difficulty setting.

Celestial Jellyfish:

conssjelfsh

The third form of the Triumvirates; a large, flying jellyfish. It thrusts around in the air, producing several Infant Jellyfish. Occasionally, it dips down at one side of the screen and speeds across before re-ascending. This mini-boss is not present on the Easy difficulty setting.

Celestial Atomic Cell:

conssatomcell

The fourth form of the Triumvirates; a large, flying, hollow cell that is composed of a Dense Nucleus in a gelatinous sphere. It floats around slowly, producing groups of Sentient Stars.

The player’s machine gun and grenade launcher cause the cytoplasmic layer to compress in the direction of fire; ideally, the player must aim at the weak point, the Dense Nucleus; when they stop firing, the membrane re-expands. The nucleus takes damage once the membrane contacts it. However, the flame thrower directly damages inflicts damage without the delay. This mini-boss is not present on the Easy difficulty setting.

BOSSES

Slave Beast Taka:

In the first phase, its Head is the main goal (all other components are optional). The Head either swings up and down at the player, or spits out a glowing organic projectile. Periodically, Alien Wasps exit from the Wasp Nest that is grown dorsally. Alien Slugs also sometimes drop from its Ventral Pouch.

consstaka2

After the head is destroyed, the giant turtle-like creature turns around, revealing a horrific humanoid face as its posterior end. The weak point is its mouth, the Posterior Orifice; it opens the mouth when it either projectile-vomits or is apparently chewing. Sometimes, it breathes out several Alien Wasps and Alien Slugs.
Found in stages: 1

Super Power Robot Yokozuna:

In the first phase, the robot runs beside the train and uses 2 attacks. It either shoots its arm cannon straight across like a boomerang or elbows the train car, attempting to knock the player off of the top. The robot jump between sides of the train car. Its weak points are both of its Shoulder Pads; only the one closer to the player is vulnerable.

conssyoko25

After some damage, it stops the train car and tilts it up, beginning the second phase. Now, it continually fires sets of 3 energy missiles that crash on 3 spots on the train, equal distance apart. The weak point is the Backpack Missile Cannon. This phase is optional, as the boss will eventually switch to the third phase, anyway.

conssyoko2

In the third phase, the robot attacks atop the train. While standing on either end of the car, it can launch a few bladed wheels that roll to one edge of the vehicle before rolling off of the other edge. It can transform into a jet that charges across the screen, back and forth, a few times. Before performing its blade attack, the boss can jump to the opposite edge and back. Its weak point is the Wheel-Loaded Backpack, but it’s vulnerable only when the boss isn’t flying.

After some more damage, the robot changes to its fourth and final phase. Now, it has lost most of its body and only the legs remain. The robot’s legs slowly walk to the front end of the train; its weak point is the Groin. If it isn’t destroyed, it will fall off of the edge and be destroyed anyway; this renders the phase optional. However, walking through the player will cost him a life.

Slinky:

A very long, centipede-like machine that tramples whatever is in its path. When this boss first appears, the player is being chased and outrun by it.

conss3boss1

Anteriorly, its head consists of an Inferior Turret at its base, Superior Turret at its top and a grinder in between them. The Inferior Turret drops flame balls that roll along the ground; the Superior Turret shoots a charged fireball. These components are optional. Throughout the early chase, the player must jump atop and drop down platforms to avoid being blocked by walls as the boss approaches him. The head eventually advances off-screen.

conss3boss2

The player then hangs from the ceiling and must avoid the charged lasers fired periodically to the ceiling by the Frame Nodes of the boss’ long body. These are also optional components. During this segment, Hover Missiles appear near the ceiling.

conss3boss3

Eventually, the player is behind the entire boss and chases it, avoiding Death Pits on the ground. The main goal of the boss is its Posterior Organic Core, which is sealed most of the time (immune to attacks). When the seal temporarily opens, the core charges and blasts a broad laser beam momentarily, during which it is vulnerable.

The posterior end of the boss sometimes deploys a pair of bladed, bouncing wheels. It may also drop a Prop-Up Ducker.

Man-Faced Fish:

cssfsh

This boss first appears by breaking a window and causing the room to flood. As the player is rising with the water on the floating platforms, several Lab Mines are encountered. Once the flooding stops and the water stops rising the boss begins attacking.

The alien carries out the following attack routine:

-It leaps across the screen, near the ceiling.

-After diving down off-screen, it jumps through one of the floating platforms, high in the air, and then drops back down off-screen; this is repeated a few times, jumping through platforms randomly (bubbles appear below the selected one shortly prior, as a warning).

-Next, it emerges its head at one end of the screen and pulls the floating platforms into its mouth.

-It then lifts a platform on its head and swims across the water surface to perform another leap across the screen, thus restarting the pattern.

The boss’ weak point is inside its mouth, which it opens when it performs the leap and attack and also when it sucks in the floating platforms. When defeated, it jumps up through a floating platform one final time.

Emperor-Demon Gyaba:

Different from previous incarnations, this one is below the player, fought from a hang rail. The boss consists of a central head and 2 Lateral Heads. The Central Head contains 2 Gyaba Eyes and the Exposed Brain, which is the main goal. All other components are optional. Destroying the Lateral Heads leaves a hole in their places. From this hole, either a charged energy blast is launched or several Ring Worms are thrown at the player.

The 2 Gyaba Eyes periodically emit several pairs of projectiles at the player. The Exposed Brain periodically emits larger projectiles at the player. When the 2 Gyaba Eyes are destroyed, the Exposed Brain then emits 5 of the large projectiles, in spread formation, at the player.

On the Easy difficulty setting, this is the final boss of the game.

Vital Gonad:

conssgonad

The final form of the Triumvirates; likely an awry metamorphosis, it is a giant, pulsing testicular organ that stands in the middle of the screen. It attacks by producing Inter-Dimensional Gametes in copious amounts.

The weak point is its Pulsing Gonadal Core, but it is surrounded by a protective membrane. Regardless of the weapon used, the player must shoot for a few seconds for the membrane to compress and contact the core before it receives any damage. Stopping gunfire allows the membrane to re-expand. This boss is not present on the Easy difficulty setting.

Grotesque Chimera:

conssfinbos

The true final boss of the game, it is a combination of all of the Triumvirates prior forms. The creature performs 2 attacks routinely. It shoots a few pairs of orbs at the plane; each orb bounces either left or right along the plane’s surface. Next, it grabs onto the plane and spits explosive fireballs from the front to the back of the plane, each fireball equally spaced apart.

When the boss is defeated, it grabs onto the plane and attempts to pull it into the flames of the expanding explosion that surround it. While it shooting it at this point appears to cause damage, there is actually no effect. Regardless of the player’s actions, the boss will be defeated just before it drags the entire plane into the explosion. This boss is not present on the Easy difficulty setting.

conssconveyor

While not a direct threat to the player, it makes the battle with the Decapedal Blob more difficult. It can also send the player into the Grinder on the right side. After the mini-boss is destroyed, the Conveyor Belt stops functioning.

Grinder:

conssgrinder

A constant danger to the player during the battle with the Decapedal Blob. After the mini-boss is destroyed, this machine stops functioning, but can still kill the player upon contact.

Found in stages: 5

Organic Q-Tip:

conssqtip

Rotating stick-like member that flies across the screen. Shooting at it causes the object to shrink about its connecting center; it re-expands once it is not being attacked. This danger is not present on the Easy difficulty setting.
